This functional module is designed to provide EMP engineers with a set of tools to generate PfVs by detecting clashes between system elements and building elements. Users can initiate the process either by selecting element categories or by picking specific system elements.

02. Prerequisites

• Link the structural or architectural model, and set the transparency of building elements to 30% for better visibility.

• Use a section box to define the detection range and improve performance during PfV generation.

• Ensure the EasyVoids PfV families are loaded into the project.

  

• The user will be asked to load PfV family into project when families are not loaded.

03. Selection of Category

The "Selection of Category" feature allows you to batch-generate PfVs by detecting collisions between system elements and building elements.

• Click the button to open the configuration window.

1. At the top of the window, select a 3D view from the list(ideally select the one specifically created for penetration and recess planning.)
2. Use the keyword filter to quickly narrow down the list of 3D views.
